Perth County Public Health wants to find out what food means to people in the County.
PERTH COUNTY - The Perth District Health Unit and the Perth County Food Security Coalition have launched an online food survey.
They are looking to find out where people buy food, what's important when choosing what to eat and what challenges people face in feeding themselves and their families. The survey is part of a community food assessment being conducted in Perth County. Public Health Dietician Natalee Ridgeway says they want to find out what food means to people in the County.
"Our aim is to have a better understanding of our local food system, including everything involved in getting food to people. We want to find out what we're doing well, and to identify the gaps and food-related issues people are faced with here in Perth County."
The survey is open to all residents of Perth County over the age of 18 and you could win a $50 gift certificate just for participating. The deadline to enter the survey is November 7 and you can enter online here.
