The Woodstock Navy Vets celebrated a win and suffered a loss over the weekend.
PJHL - It wasn't the best start to the New Year for the Woodstock Navy Vets.
They suffered a 6-4 loss to the Tavistock Braves on Friday. The Vets were down 4-2 and managed to tie the Braves in the third period, but it wasn't enough in the end.
However, Woodstock bounced back with a 2-0 win over the Wellesley Applejacks on Saturday. Tyler Bouck made 25 saves leading to his second shutout of the season. It's also the ninth shutout of his career, tying the team career record with current Vets goalie coach Keaghan Brett.
