The Woodstock Navy Vets and the Thamesford Trojans remain unbeaten after the Thanksgiving long weekend.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets kept their winning streak alive over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
They celebrated a 4-3 overtime win over the Paris Titans on Friday. Davin Gray scored two goals while the other two were scored by Nolan Brett and Jake Phelan.
The Vets also crushed the Norwich Merchants 6-2 on Saturday. Tyler Bouck finished the night with 30 saves for Woodstock.
The Merchants suffered a 4-3 loss to the New Hamburg Firebirds on Friday. The Tavistock Braves fell to the Wellesley Applejacks 2-1 on Friday but demolished the Titans 6-1 on Saturday.
Meanwhile in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans also remain unbeaten this season. They celebrated a 5-1 win over the North Middlesex Stars on Friday.
The Woodstock Navy Vets sit on top of the Doherty Division standings with 16 points. The Thamesford Trojans are leading the Yeck Division standings, also with 16 points.
