Parent council member Kathryn Doan says they are fundraising for the next phase of the outdoor classroom.
"We are putting in an amphitheatre as well as other outdoor space learning opportunities for the students at the school to have a classroom environment not just in the traditional environment of indoors, but outdoors."
Doan adds the project is being done in multiple phases to help spread out the cost.
"Other years we have raised close to, if not more than $40,000. The outdoor learning enhancement project with the five different phases we are looking at is a significant investment of close to $85,000."
Tickets are selling very quickly for the March 4th event at the Norwich Community Centre. They go for $30 per person and they can be purchased at the school’s main office or from a parent council member.
