The three vehicle crash closed all of the eastbound lanes of the highway between Oxford Road 3 and Cedar Creek Road.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - The Oxford OPP is investigating a three vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Blandford-Blenheim Township.
It was between an SUV, a pickup truck and a transport truck last night and no details have been released in regards to injuries.
All of the eastbound lanes of the highway were closed between Oxford Road 3 and Cedar Creek Road were closed as of 7:30 p.m. last night, but they did reopen at 5:30 a.m. this morning.
In a video posted on the OPP West Region X page, Sergeant Ed Sanchuk had this reminder for drivers out there.
"Make sure you pack an emergency prepardeness kit because you just never know if you get stuck on the highway because of a crash or if you're involved in an incident yourself. So you should have warm clothing, a full tank of gas, medication, water, food, matches, a candle, and a charged cellphone."
