The Oxford OPP say the driver of a white van tried to convince a 14-year-old to get into his vehicle on Charles Street in Ingersoll last night.
INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP is investigating what appears to be an attempted abduction in Ingersoll.
Police say the driver of an older model white utility van tried to convince a 14-year-old to get into his vehicle on Charles Street last night. The OPP got the call at around 8:45 p.m.
The driver is described as a man with a dark complexion and dark hair. He talks with an accent and he is believed to be about 20 to 40-years-old.
Police say the white van was dirty at the time and it could have black graffiti painted on it.
