An unknown driver fled the scene after hitting a 21 year old pregnant woman.
TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP are asking the public to assist them in a hit and run of a pregnant pedestrian in Tillsonburg.
Police say the 21 year old pregnant woman was struck by a vehicle on Lisgar Ave, just east on Van Norman Drive in Tillsonburg around 11:30 in the morning this past Friday. The woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to her or the unborn baby.
The call goes out to anyone who was in the area at that time, especially one witness who asked the woman if she is ok, but left the scene.
