Oxford County residents are encouraged to come out and drop off their unneeded prescription medication this weekend in Ingersoll
INGERSOLL - An OPP drop off is exactly what the doctor ordered when it comes to the disposal of prescription medication.
In an effort to keep drugs out of the wrong hands, the Ontario Provincial Police are supporting Prescription Drug Drop Off Day by collecting unused or expired prescription medications.
Oxford OPP will be in the Shopper's Drug Mart parking lot on Thames Street North in Ingersoll on Saturday May 9th between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The OPP would also like to remind residents all pharmacies in Ontario will also accept unused prescriptions anytime.
Numerous other OPP detachments across Ontario are participating in Prescription Drug Drop Off Day. A full list can be found at opp.ca.
