The Woodstock Museum has opened a new exhibit with portraits of LGBTQ2+ Canadians in honour of Pride Month.
WOODSTOCK - A new Pride exhibit is now open at the Woodstock Museum.
The exhibit features portraits of LGBTQ2+ Canadians in the celebration of Pride Month.
Communications Coordinator Robin De Angelis says people are invited to come and view the artwork from the ArQuives’ National Portrait Collection.
"This exhibit is highlighting the important contributions of the LGBTQ2+ Canadians and their role in the wider community. We are featuring 25 of those portraits here in the museum starting this month through until September."
The collection showcases a variety of different media, with each portrait including a biography and a description of how this individual contributes to the LGBTQ2+ community in Canada.
Oxford County Pride will be hosting a variety of events throughout Pride Month. Additional information can be found online here. You can also find more information about the Woodstock Museum online here.
