Ontario confirmed 1,371 new cases this morning, 18 new deaths and 1,124 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,371 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 314,891.
Ontario also confirmed 18 new deaths today bringing the total to 7,127. Another 1,124 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 296,252. The Province also confirmed over a 56 new variant cases over the weekend, this means we now have a total of 1,005 cases of the variant that originated in the U.K, 42 of the variant traced back to South Africa and 34 that originated in Brazil.
The province completed over 64,611 tests yesterday. We currently have 676 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 282 people in the ICU and 189 in the ICU on a ventilator.
