ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 478 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 47,752.
The Province also confirmed 3 new COVID-19 related deaths today and the total sits at 2,832. Meanwhile another 196 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 41,342.
The province completed 34,201 tests yesterday. Over half of the new cases come from three regions with 153 new cases in Toronto, 95 in Peel and 90 in Ottawa. 68% of today’s cases are in people under the age of 40.
We currently have 82 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 24 are in the ICU.
