BRANT COUNTY - The community in Brant County is invited to the Rec Expo today.
The expo features different recreational activities offered through sports clubs and organizations to people of all ages in the community.
Recreation Coordinator Sarah Dredge says the event will feature different organizations in attendance.
"We invite you to join us at the Rec Expo! Come and meet a variety of clubs and groups, ask questions and learn about all the exciting recreation opportunities happening in your community. There are also great prize giveaways and information will be available on financial assistance."
Dredge says people can also exchange their sports equipment.
"At the Rec Expo, we will also be offering a sport equipment exchange“ Bring an old pair of skates and leave with a baseball glove. The exchange is a great way to share used equipment."
The event will feature a number of sports clubs and organizations on hand, including the Burford Bulldogs, Brant Youth Volleyball Club and the County of Brant Libraries.
A free skate will be also happening from 2:30 to 3:30pm after the event.
