The UDodge Tournament will be happening at Huron Park Secondary School on Saturday April 6th.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way Oxford is hosting the 8th Annual UDodge Tournament.
Resource Development Manager Amanda Kreiger says it's taking place on Saturday April 6th this year.
"We are hosting it at Huron Park Secondary School in Woodstock again this year. Essentially a team captain reaches out and you gather 8 to 10 of your friends, coworkers, or family members, and you register a team."
Once the team is registered they get their own fundraising page. Teams are being asked to raise a minimum of $500, and there will be prizes for the team and individual that raises the most money.
Canadian Tire is the title sponsor for the event this year, and some of the prizes that are up for grabs include; a 65" TV, a $250 Best Buy gift card, a $200 Keg gift card, and a JBL Change5 Bluetooth speaker.
They are looking to get 12 teams registered for the event this year and Kreiger says spots are filling up fast.
"This year we're already at 6 or 7 teams, and registration just opened a couple weeks ago. So, space is limited."
If you are interested in putting in a team, visit the United Way Oxford website or contact Amanda via amanda@unitedwayoxford.ca.
