The brush, leaf, and yard waste depot in Ingersoll will be closed from July 31st until September 20th.
INGERSOLL - A closure in Ingersoll is about to take place.
The brush, leaf, and yard waste depot, which is located at 80 Pemberton Street, will be shut down from July 31st until September 20th.
This is due to construction taking place on Pemberton Street. Crews will be working as quickly as possible to get the work done, and Oxford County was not able to secure and operate an alternate site in Ingersoll.
Residents will be able to take their yard waste to the Waste Management Facility in Salford. That facility will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The construction will also force a closure to all traffic and public access, and a reminder to be cautious when in the area, and keeping children away from the equipment is being given to residents. There will be some inconveniences including dust, and noise, but they will be minimized whenever possible.
You can visit the Town of Ingersoll's website for any updates regarding this project.
