The outage is not only affecting phone and internet services for Rogers customers but also ATMs and debit machines.
CANADA - Rogers customers across the country have not been able to access phone and Internet services today.
A statement on the @RogersHelps Twitter page says the telecommunications company is currently experiencing an outage across its wireline and wireless networks. It also says they're trying to restore service as fast as possible, but there is no word on a restoration time at this point.
You might want to take cash with you if you have to go anywhere because the outage is also affecting debit machines and ATMs. Several local businesses have been feeling the effects of the outage today including cab companies, local gas stations, and local fast-food restaurants.
The Thames Valley District School Board has released a statement saying its summer school programming is not affected by the Rogers outage.
We here at Heart FM have also been feeling the impacts of this network outage, but we will do our best to keep you updated.
On behalf of all of us at Rogers, we sincerely apologize to our customers, and we will continue to keep you updated as we have more information to share, including when we expect service to be back up. pic.twitter.com/JIjGRUzxe5
