Santa Claus will visit every corner of Ingersoll this week with a drive thru parade made possible by the Ingersoll Rotary Club.
INGERSOLL - Santa Claus is coming to the Town of Ingersoll all this week.
Operation 2020, Bring Santa to the People is hosted by the Rotary Club of Ingersoll. Adam Funnel says Santa is going to visit every corner in the Town over 5 nights this week with a drive thru visit.
"As it turns out, our little town has over 85 kilometres of road, so this became a little bit more challenging then we first expected. We have got the routes done, they are all posted to our web site and we have broken the Town down into 5 sections."
Funnel says they plan to bring Santa to every home in the Town.
"Typically in a parade, police shut down the roads, that will not happening here, we do have to adhere to all traffic laws and make sure everybody is safe. We will be going by, pretty much every single home in Ingersoll. We will have 6 or 7 vehicles decorated and of course the man of the hour, Santa Claus will be buy every single house and Mrs Claus, I should add Mrs. Claus is able to make the trip as well."
They actually have a GPS santa tracker on their web site, so you can see exactly when he will be at your house. Santa started in the North East end of Ingersoll on Monday night and will be in the North West section of the town on Tuesday night. You can track santa and where he is going to be on any given night this week online here. Heart FM will be joining the parade on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to provide some Christmas music.
