The search continues for a 10 year old girl who feel through the ice at Whirl Creek near Mitchell.
Search and Rescue crews have working non stop since the girl fell into the water back on March 6 near Road 155 and Line 32.
The search efforts have included police helicopters, inflatable boats and firefighters actually wading through the waters. Local residents have offered to help as well, but have been turned away because of how dangerous the water is. They have been supplying firefighters with coffee and food daily.
The search has expanded south into the Thames River and crews have gone as far as St. Marys.
Northern Bruce Peninsula is helping with the water search efforts today.
In a show of support from the community, hundreds of stuffed animals and personal messages have been left on the Wellington Street overpass.
