The province is expanding second dose eligibility ahead of schedule.
As of Monday at 8:00 a.m., all Ontarians who received their first dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on or before May 9th can book a second shot at a shortened interval.
On Wednesday at 8:00 a.m., people who got their first dose on or before May 30th and who live in one of ten hot spot regions, can also book a second dose.
Those regions include Toronto, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, Durham, Peel, Porcupine, Simcoe-Muskoka, Waterloo, York and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph.
In addition, beginning June 28th, all Ontarians 18 and older can book a second vaccination at a shortened interval.
The appointment will need to be at least 28 days after the first dose.
