The Community Health Care Centre is giving you the opportunity to shop for free
WOODSTOCK - The Community Health Care Centre is giving you the chance to do some shopping for free.
On Monday July 20th and Wednesday July 22nd, the CHC is hosting Your Neighbour's Closet. This event invites the public to come through, look at the donations collected, and take what they need. Outreach Social Worker Jenilee Cook says the community has really come together for this initiative. "We've had a tonne of donations given to us by the community. There was a couple of folks in town that did shoe drop-offs and were able to gather upwards of 50 pairs of shoes or probably way more than that actually. So we've clothing available - baby, children, and even adults. We have home decor decorations... You're just invited to come in and shop for free."
Cook mentions this could be a perfect opportunity to find some great back to school finds.
It is a first come, first serve event, and there is no registration required.
Your Neighbour's Closet will be held in the Woodstock and Area Community Health Centre Community Room at 35 Metcalf Street in Woodstock.
