WOODSTOCK - A charity golf tournament will be taking place.
The South Gate Centre is hosting the event at the Ingersoll Golf Club on Saturday, September 9th. It will be a shotgun start at 12 p.m. and be a scramble-type tournament.
David Hilderley, with South Gate Centre, says that golfers of all skill levels will be able to enjoy the event.
"It is not a high-pressure golf thing at all. People just have a good time, and we are going to continue to raise money for the South Gate Centre."
Hilderley says that if you are still looking to enter into the tournament, you are in luck, but have to be quick.
"We're almost sold out, but we still have room for a pair and a foursome. Then we will have 144 golfers, which will be an amazing time."
To register you can call South Gate Centre at 519-539-9817, or drop by the Centre at 191 Old Wellington Street South in Woodstock.
Hilderley wants to send out a huge thank you to the Master Sponsor, which is Century 21. He adds, that after the tournament, there will be a steak and chicken buffet dinner held at the Centre, as well as a silent auction table.
He says that if you have a business and want to donate to the auction table, you can call and let the Centre know. Hilderley says that any help is appreciated as they want to raise as much money as possible for the Centre.
