South Gate Centre has received the renderings for its upcoming expansion, but it's unknown when shovels will hit the ground.
WOODSTOCK - The plans for expansion at South Gate Centre are moving along.
South Gate representative David Hilderley says the process is one that they have been happy with.
"We are working very closely with our architect. We just received the renderings. We are so excited to get this going, but it is a process."
Hilderley says they hope to be able to share the renderings at their AGM in September. He adds, that the next step is to start the build, but knows it is something that can't be rushed.
"Shovels in the ground are totally up to the contractors and tender. So it is a process, we wish it was faster, but you have to do it in a very logical and programmed way."
The multi-million dollar project includes a new 12,700 square-foot addition is going to include a large hall, a new atrium area, cafe space, office spaces, and more.
