We have way more recoveries than new cases this morning with 19 resolved cases according to Southwestern Public Health. Right now we have 61 active cases in the region.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 8 new cases of the virus today and 19 resolved cases.
We currently have 1 person in the hospital with the virus and they are currently in the ICU. The Health Unit is reporting 61 active cases with nearly half of them in Aylmer. The rise in cases in Aylmer is related to an outbreak at the Ontario Police College. Here is the breakdown of the locations according to Southwestern Public Health:

Zorra Township - 3
Norwich Township - 2
Ingersoll - 1

Central Elgin - 1
The Health Unit is also reporting two active outbreaks at local long term care homes at the Bethany Care Home in Norwich and Maples Retirement Home in Tavistock. In both cases, 1 resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
