It has been fairly mild this morning, but Environment Canada says the temperature will drop below the freezing mark again this afternoon. This means the roads and sidewalks could be very slippery this evening.
OXFORD/BRANT - It's about to get very cold again in Oxford and Brant.
We've been experiencing above freezing temperatures this morning, but Environment Canada says a cold front will drop the temperatures below freezing late this afternoon. This could make the roads and sidewalks very icy and slippery this evening.
Here in Woodstock, Environment Canada is predicting a daytime high of plus 3 for today. It says the temperature should drop to minus 5 this afternoon but it's going to feel more like minus 13 with the wind chill.
A special weather statement is currently in effect for Oxford and Brant.
