Southwestern Ontario will be hit with snowfall and periods of rain over the weekend.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning drivers of hazardous winter conditions headed towards Southwestern Ontario. Snow fall will begin early this morning turning to periods of freezing rain and sleet in the afternoon. The winter wallop will continue Sunday with more snow likely bringing the total accumulation to 5 to 10 centimetres. The weather conditions are expected to create difficult driving conditions and drivers are being asked to adjust travel accordingly.
