Tickets are on sale for the STAGES Summer Camp season-ending performance of The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever.
WOODSTOCK - The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever will be this year's production put on by STAGES Summer Camp.
Over 30 students between the ages of 6 and 14 will take part in the production at Theatre Woodstock, which takes place from August 24th to August 26th.
Director Heather Card says that the students at the camp have a great experience while learning the play.
"It's a really, really quick process. They hop right in, they learn a full show. The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever is the perfect show, it's nice and condensed, it's a lot of action, so it is kind of quick and dirty, but they get it done."
Card mentions that this year there will be lots of fresh faces that take the stage during the production.
"There are lots of kids who do the yearly programs and have done it this past year, so a lot of the older kids have gotten in, but I say we have a ton of new kids, who it is their first time getting on the stage."
Shows start on the 24th, with one show at 7:00 p.m., then two shows run on the 25th at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and the final show runs on the 26th at 7:00 p.m. Before the show on the 26th there will be a community barbeque for everyone to enjoy.
Tickets are available on the Theatre Woodstock website, and it is encouraged to get your tickets in advance with a limited number of shows taking place.
Pricing is $18 for adults, $14 for students, and $12 for children under 12-years-old.
Card stopped by the Heart FM studio for a chat with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday, August 16th and you can listen to the full interview below:
