 
                            Woodstock Police are still searching for Leo Arthur Brett's killer, some 17 years later.
WOODSTOCK - An unsolved murder remains the biggest cold case file for the Woodstock Police.
Leo Arthur Brett was last spotted at the Williams Coffee pub in Woodstock on September 6th, 2003. He was reported missing two days later and to this day his disappearance remains a mystery. Brett's body was discovered by fisherman on June 19th, 2005 in the Thames River at Highway #2 and the 11th line, just west of Woodstock.
Brett was known to frequent William's Coffee Pub, which is now called Jesse's Diner. He was easily recognizable in Woodstock and was often found at the water fountain at the Woodstock Museum Square with his parrot.
At the time of his disappearance Leo was 49 years old and described as being 5’9”, 160 lbs. with short greying brown hair, moustache, wearing blue jeans, denim shirt, work boots, camouflage hat and wearing prescription glasses. Leo also had several tattoos.
The investigation has led police to rule the disappearance and discovery of Leo Brett’s remains as a homicide.
