WOODSTOCK - Police are looking for a suspect after multiple vehicles were stolen from the same residence.
After a man had his keys stolen earlier last week, two vehicles were taken from his driveway.
On Friday May 29 sometime between the hours of 2 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. an unknown suspect stole a white 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab from a driveway on Pearson Drive. On Saturday police saw the stolen truck on Wilson Street in Woodstock. When police attempted a traffic stop the driver would not halt for police. The pursuit was abandoned after 2.8 km.
The truck was located again on Sunday in the Halifax Drive area. The vehicle was unoccupied and had suffered minor damage.
When police attended the owner's home to follow up, they discovered a 1998 Buick Century had also been stolen from the residence. The keys for the Buick were also on the stolen key ring.
On Monday June 1 at approximately 12:35 a.m. police located the car in a parking lot on Springbank Avenue. The vehicle has been transported to a secure location by police to conduct a forensic investigation.
Woodstock Police are still searching for the suspect. The thief is described as male, between 20 - 30 years of age, 5'11", 185 lbs, has short brown hair and dark skin.
