The Norwich Tim Hortons was raising money for the Salvation Army Norwich this time around, and they raised $14,026.00 for their cause.
Community Ministries Coordinator April Greenwood says that they were grateful for the donation since they have seen an increase of almost 25% in food bank usage, with many being first-timers.
She adds that funds will go towards purchasing food, housing assistance, helping send kids to camp, and other essential services.
