A crossing guard in Woodstock has been bit by a dog. The incident took place in the morning hours of Thursday, September 7th at the corner of Landsdowne and Sprucedale.
WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is looking for information.
This is after a dog bite that happened yesterday (Thursday, September 7th) morning at the intersection of Landsdowne and Sprucedale in Woodstock.
Two people walking the dog crossed the street, and once to the other side, the dog turned and bit a crossing guard in the leg.
Initial reports have the dog being described as mostly a German Shephard, but could be a mixed breed, and light in colour.
Public health seeks information about this dog in order to assess for risk of exposure to the rabies virus.
