The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has some advice for Canadians with beef in their fridges and freezers -- when in doubt, throw it out. T his, as the agency expands its recall of possibly E-coli contaminated beef products from Alberta's X-L Foods. It says consumers who are not sure if they have beef products affected by the recall should either toss it or check with their store.
