Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman paid a visit to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Alexandra Hospital recently, alongside members of Ingersoll Town Council, CAO Michael Graves, and Town Clerk Danielle Richard.
INGERSOLL/TILLSONBURG - Local dignitaries were able to tour the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll.
Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman was part of the group.
"Recently, I had the opportunity to tour Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll, and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital to discuss the progress they have been making to maintain access to care. It was a productive morning, and great to be introduced to the new President and Chief Executive Officer Nadia Facca, and other members of the leadership team."
The delegation also included members of Ingersoll Town Council, CAO Michael Graves, and Town Clerk Danielle Richard.
President and CEO Nadia Facca says they looked over reports on how the two hospitals have been recovering from the pandemic.
"COVID-19 has left a deep mark on the healthcare system. The partnership between hospitals, government, and other key system partners has been crucial to the pandemic response and will be critical on a go forward."
The delegation also got to learn more about the hospital's future plans for Clinical Services Planning.
