Oxford County Library is calling all teen photographers. The annual photo contest is back for the 9th year.
OXFORD COUNTY - A photography contest is back in Oxford County for the 9th year.
The Oxford County Library is bringing the teen photo contest. Any Oxford County resident from 12 to 18 years old with a library card can submit one photo for each topic. Outreach/Teen Librarian, Meagan Brennan says what topics the photos have to be a part of.
"We have this contest every year. We have four categories, that change every year. This year our categories are To the Stars, Poetry, Summer Nights, and Local Eats."
Brennan adds it is up to the photographer to interpret what each category means. She mentions how long each person has to submit their photos.
"The contest is currently open and goes until August 16th. So, you need to get your photo submissions in by midnight on August 16th."
Once the photos have been submitted, there will be voting, and to vote you can like pictures on Facebook, go to the Oxford County Library website, direct message on social media, or by email. The voting period is from August 20th to the 26th, with the winners being announced on the 27th.
You can visit the Oxford County Library website to get all the information as well.
