Minor injuries were reported after a projectile was fired from a vehicle on Stover Street.
NORWICH - Two teenagers have been charged after the Oxford OPP responded to a weapons complaint in Norwich.
Police say a projectile was discharged from a vehicle on Stover Street at around 5:30 p.m. yesterday. It struck a pedestrian and minor injuries were reported.
The vehicle took off, but police were able to track it down shortly afterward.
Two 17-year-olds have been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. One of them also faces one count of dangerous operation. The OPP will not be releasing their identities in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
