Theatre Woodstock will share a preview of its upcoming season during a special event on Friday March 31st.
WOODSTOCK - The next season of Theatre Woodstock is almost here!
Artistic Director Shannon Wijnker says there is going to be a preview event at the theatre featuring segments from upcoming shows. The event will have performances from classics like Urinetown, and Guys in a Garage, along side encores from last season.
Wijnker says this season will also feature newcomer-friendly productions for those looking to get into theatre.
"We also have our festival of one-act plays which is another great thing to come and find out about because that's a way to get into performing on stage, but you're not performing in a big show. It's smaller segments and that's a great stepping stone for somebody interested in performing."
She says directors and community members will be present to talk about the new plays for both youth and adults.
"It's a free event. You get to see some performances and you get to network with other people too and find out about who else is in the community and get involved."
The event starts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday March 31st at the Market Centre Theatre.
