A 31-year-old man from Port Dover, a 36-year-old from Oshweken and a 32-year-old man from Burford have been charged in a Woodstock Police human trafficking initiative.
WOODSTOCK - Three men have been charged in a Woodstock Police human trafficking initiative.
Officers charged a 31-year-old man from Port Dover and a 36-year-old man from Oshweken with communicate with anyone for the purpose of obtaining sexual services yesterday. They also charged a 32-year-old man from Burford with communicate with anyone for the purpose of obtaining sexual services from a person under the age of 18-years.
The Woodstock Police Service did not release their names.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time and anyone with information is asked to call the Woodstock Police Service at 519-537-2323. You can also submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
This human trafficking initiative would not be possible without the Community Safety and Police Grant.
