A 16 year old novice driver was charged with careless driving after a three vehicle crash in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Nobody was seriously injured after a three vehicle crash in Woodstock this morning.
Police were called to Highway 59 near the roundabout around 6:30 a.m. They say a 16 year old novice driver was in a dark SUV when he approached the roundabout at Oxford Road 17.
The driver drove through the middle of the roundabout and went air born, slamming into the driver's side rear corner of the trailer on a transport. The transport truck was heading northbound at the time. The SUV then hit a northbound pickup truck head on.
The combined damage of the three vehicle crash is estimated at $30,000.
The 16 year old driver was charged with careless driving.
