The 164th annual Tillsonburg Agricultural Fair will take place this weekend.
TILLSONBURG - The Tillsonburg Agricultural Fair is returning for the 164th year this weekend.
It gets underway on Friday June 22nd wraps up on Sunday June 24th. Admission is only $8 and children under five are free.
Opening ceremonies begin at 6:00 p.m Friday evening, followed by the crowning of the Junior Ambassador and the Mini King and Queen. Entertainment will begin at 7:00 p.m.
President Rosemary Dean says they have an new exciting event on tap for Saturday.
"Saturday we have Comic-Con. We will have Brampton Batman, Deadpool, the Bumble Bee from Transformers and a few others. That's all part of the admission to get into the fair, there's no extra cost to go to Comic-Con."
There will also be multiple other events happening throughout the weekend including a demolition derby, a tractor pull, a rabbit show, a petting zoo, an ice cream eating contest and so much more.
Dean adds they have also kicked their midway up a notch.
"This year we are happy we have the World's Finest Show's. We have some amazing rides coming."
They believe the 90 foot drop zone will be a hit at the fair. They are also looking for local people who would like to volunteer to perform on their stage.
