Police say the Tillsonburg man refused to pull over, ramming into a police cruiser before crashing his vehicle on the 401 leaving Woodstock on Saturday.
TILLSONBURG - A 39 year old man from Tillsonburg has been arrested following a police chase on Saturday night.
Officers say they first tried to pull over a dangerous driver around 10 pm in Woodstock. The driver refused to stop according to police, slamming into a cruiser before fleeing the scene. The vehicle was eventually recovered by OPP after it crashed on the 401.
Mark Moschuk was arrested on the following charges:
- Dangerous Operation
- Failure to Stop After Accident
- Flight from Peace Officer
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order x2
- Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code
The male was transported to area hospital for assessment. The male was held in custody to attend a bail hearing.
