A Tillsonburg woman is in serious condition in a London hospital after the vehicle she was riding in failed to stop at a posted sign and was hit by another vehicle. Elgin OPP say it happened around 4:13 Thursday afternoon when the car the 43 year old woman was a passenger in, blew through a stop sign at Vienna Line and Springfield Road and was hit by an SUV. The 51 year old car driver from Aylmer had to be cut from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV and her four children were not injured. OPP are continuing to investigate. No names have been released at this time.
