He died last night after a battle with stomach cancer.
UNITED STATES - Country singer-songwriter Toby Keith has passed away after a battle with cancer.
A statement on his website says he was surrounded by his family when he died at the age of 62 yesterday. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2022.
His hit songs include Should Have Been a Cowboy, Beer for My Horses, and Red Solo Cup. Keith performed at the 2023 People's Choice Country Awards this past September, where he received the Country Icon Award.
