Suspected methamphetamine was seized at the Blue Water Bridge, and a Woodstock man is facing charges.
SARNIA - A Woodstock man has been caught with drugs at the border.
On February 4th, a commercial truck was sent to secondary search at the Blue Water Bridge, entering Canada from the United States. During the search, there were 16 duffle bags found containing suspected methamphetamine. The weight of the drugs was 266.4 kilograms and has since been handed over to the RCMP. Also, the 29-year-old Woodstock man was charged by the RCMP with importation of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the matter is before the Court in Sarnia.
