A travelling exhibition is in the Friendly City to showcase health, education, and gender equality around the world
WOODSTOCK - A one of a kind exhibit is rolling into Woodstock.
Manager of Culture for the City and Woodstock Museum Curator Karen Houston tells Heart FM about the Aga Khan Foundation's Together Exhibit.
"It's about global development so it's looking at specifically health, education, and gender equality around the world."
The exhibit focuses on how Canada has impacted these specific areas. It will also look at how organizations like the Canadian Red Cross and Plan International Canada have impacted global development with their projects around the world.
Houston explains how this exhibit is one of a kind.
"It's actually in a trailer; I think it's 53 feet long and it has bump outs on either side. It's quite intensive and it has been going all over Canada."
The Together Exhibition trailer will be parking at the Woodstock Museum and people can check it out for free between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
