Several Toyota models could experience issues with the front passenger airbags.
USA/CANADA - Toyota has issued a recall for one million vehicles including 100,000 in Canada.
The affected model years range from 2020 to 2022. Officials say the affected vehicles include Toyota Avalons, Camrys, Highlanders, RAV4s, Siennas, and Corollas (including their hybrid models). The recall also covers Lexus ES and RX models.
The automaker says a defect in the front passenger seat could cause the airbags to not deploy in certain crashes.
Toyota Canada will reach out to the affected owners in mid-February 2024.
