Oxford OPP believe they've recovered the pick-up truck that hit a cyclist in Zorra Township last week. On July 1st, a teen riding in a convoy was hit from behind by a pick-up truck. The teen suffered a broken vertebrae and ribs, as he was knocked into the ditch. The truck left the scene. Police say they recovered a stolen pick-up on Road #92 just west of the 45th Line in Zorra the next day. Police believe that this stolen pickup truck is the suspect vehicle involved in the collision with the cyclists. Police are requesting anyone who may have seen this suspect vehicle or any persons walking in the area of Road #92 and the 45th Line from 11:00 p.m. on July 1 to 4:30 a.m. on July 2 to contact Oxford County O.P.P. at Ingersoll Detachment 519-485-6554, or call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
