The TVDSB reported 5 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend and 2 of them are in Ingersoll. The school board reported a case at Harrisfield Public School Saturday night and another case at Laurie Hawkins Public School yesterday.
INGERSOLL/LONDON/LUCAN - The Thames Valley District School Board reported five new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend.
Two of them are in Ingersoll, one is at Harrisfield Public School and the other is at Laurie Hawkins Public School.
The other cases affect Wilberforce Elementary School in Lucan and Oakridge Secondary School in London. An outbreak has also been declared at Clara Brenton Public School in London and the TVDSB is currently reporting two active cases within that school community.
Contact tracing is underway and the school board has already reached out to all parents, guardians and staff members. If you don't receive a letter from Thames Valley, your child is not considered to be at risk.
