Captain Mike Murphy and Captain Trevor Ford have over 65 years of service combined with the Woodstock Fire Department.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Fire Department has announced that two of their senior captains will be stepping down and entering retirement.
The announcement was made on January 30th, saying that Captain Trevor Ford as well as Captain Mike Murphy would both be retiring after over 65 years of combined service in Woodstock. Captain Ford is retiring after 33.5 years of service with the department and Captain Murphy is retiring with just one year more at 34.5.
Woodstock Fire issued statements on social media to congratulate the two. We here at Heart FM would also like to thank both Captain Ford and Captain Murphy for their dedication to the community.
