Police say the found purple Fentanyl, stolen licence plates and cocaine inside the stolen vehicle when they arrested two people just after midnight on Tuesday morning.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police arrested two men after spotting a stolen truck on Van Ave on Tuesday morning.
Officers first spotted the truck and the trailer at a business parking lot just after midnight. The was stolen from a home in Beacvhille on Monday and the trailer was taken from a place on Anderson Street in Woodstock on Monday as well.
When officers made the arrest, they found stolen licence plates, purple Fentanyl and cocaine inside the vehicle.
A 38 year old Ingersoll man from Ingersoll was arrested on the following charges:
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 X2
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000
- Possession of an Identity Document X2
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order X3
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine
A 29 year old man from Woodstock was also arrested on the following charges:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 X2
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000
- Possession of an Identity Document X2
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine X2
Police did not release the names of the men.
