Two people were injured after a three vehicle crash on Vansittart Avenue in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Two people were injured after a three vehicle crash on Vansittart Avenue in Woodstock. Police and EMS were called on Thursday just after 5 p.m. and the crash happened between Drew Street and Ingersoll Avenue. According to Police an Alero was heading northbound on Vansittart Avenue when the female driver rear ended a car. After the collision the driver of the Alero swerved into the southbound lane and crashed into an oncoming motorcycle.
Both the driver of the Alero and the motorcycle were taken to a local area hospital where they were treated for non life threatening injuries. The driver who was rear ended was treated at the scene. Police estimate the damage to the vehicles will be about $11,000. Technical traffic investigators are assisting with the investigation.
