Ultimate Burger Battle Begins!

Sixteen local restaurants are going head to head in support of United Way Oxford.

OXFORD COUNTY - It's 30 days of burger eating, where every bite gives back to your community.

Sixteen local restaurants are facing off in the Ultimate Burger Battle this month, formerly known as Novemburger.

They have each created their own unique burger and $2 from every burger sold will be donated to United Way Oxford.

Resource Development Coordiantor Megan Porter says the top contenders will be honoured at the end of the month.

"The ambassadors work together to crown the Ultimate Burger of the Year from our platnum participants. We also have the Most Ultimate Burgers Sold and we also have our People's Choice Awards. We're really excited to our website unitedwayoxford.ca/burgerbattle and vote for their favourite burger this year."

Porter explains how could become one of the ambassadors for next year's campaign.

"If you eat more than five burgers out the 16 we have available, you'll be able to collect a passport at each location or from us at United Way, get your passport signed or stamped by each restaurant and turn it into me by the end of the month and you'll be entered to win an ambassadorship."

Craig and Sarah Hodgkinson won the honour last year.

The campaign runs from November 1st to 30th and you can find a list of all of the participating restaurants and the names of their Ultimate Burgers below:
