Traffic on the 401 Westbound in Woodstock has been snarled by a large fire this afternoon. Cars being carried on a transport truck burst into flames near the Highway 2 exit. It's not known yet what caused the fire, but several of the cars on the carrier were completely destroyed. Woodstock Fire responded to the blaze at around 3:20 this afternoon, and got it under control. Crews are now working on getting the carrier and debris off the highway. Two lanes are blocked on the 401 WB, and there will be a significant delay there for another coupld of hours, until around 6:30PM.
